Catrina started taking ballet and jazz lessons at age 6. She later preformed with her local studio’s travel team performing at near by venues such as Hampton Beach and Greeley Park. In addition to attending dance training camps,she also performed in several studios’ productions of “The Nutcracker”. She became an assistant teacher at age 12. Catrina founded The C.O.O.L. Kids Dance Team at age 15 in 2006 and now co directs at least 2 recitals each year. As founder of the C.O.O.L. Kids, Catrina has been a speaker at The Baptist Woman’s Conference, and lead the team in performances at Hudson Old Home Day, Baptist Woman’s Conference, and various local churches. Outside of The C.O.O.L. Kids, Catrina works as a traveling dance teacher visiting many different locations per week where she teaches ballet, tap, tumbling, creative movement, and yoga for preschoolers. She recently opened her own dance studio in Hudson The Cadouxdle Dance Studio . Catrina also enjoys drawing and has an associates in graphic design.
Miss Melissa:

Melissa has been dancing for as long as she can remember, whether it be in her kitchen at home or at the studio! She joined the C.O.O.L. Kids Dance Team when she was 11, and began teaching and choreographing for the team when she was 16. In 2015, Melissa became assistant director for the C.O.O.L. Kids and helps team leader Catrina create and direct 2 shows a year. She enjoys ballet and contemporary styles of dance, and especially enjoys creating new choreography! When not dancing Melissa enjoys reading, writing, and working with children. She attends the University of New Hampshire at Manchester as a major in Psychology and Elementary Education and works part time as a preschool dance teacher.
Miss Dahlia

Dahlia has been a member of The C.O.O.L. Kids Dance Team since 2009 and has since performed as several major roles in many of the team’s productions. In addition to performing and teaching, Dahlia is also the team’s set director, and is responsible for the beautiful and creative stage sets you see at C.O.O.L. Kids performances as well as many of the show’s promotional posters. Dahlia also plays a major role in designing the class curriculum for many of our Saturday classes.
In addition to being a member of The C.O.O.L. Kids, Dahlia has been performing and training as a member of Colleges of Fennway’s Dance Project since 2014. She attends Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston with a major in architecture.

Sammi has been a C.O.O.L. Kid since the very first day of classes in 2006. “I love dancing!” says Sammi “I am an original C.O.O.L. kid and have been with the team for 10 years. I love ballet the most! I love dancing because it allows me to be creative with music and movement.” In addition to dance, Sammi plays flute, piccolo, and mellophone in the internationally know Lancers Marching band at LHS. Her favorite school subjects are math and science, and she aims to be a scientist one day. Sammi also enjoys spending time with her brother and sister and their dog Max.
